The Formation of Stress Resistance in the Professional Activities of Specialist of Children’s Correctional Institutions

This article presents the theoretical foundations of the formation of stress resistance in professional activities among specialists of children’s correctional institutions, as well as a practical study of their level of stress resistance. The focus is on topical theoretical and practical issues related to the development of children’s correctional institutions in Kazakhstan.
The article reveals the essence of the concept of stress, stress resistance is considered as the most important factor in the quality of life of a person and his work. In addition, the components and types of stress resistance are indicated as professionally important qualities of specialists in children’s correctional institutions.
The author pays priority attention to a topic that testifies to the growing importance of the formation of stress resistance among specialists in children’s correctional institutions, additional and professional education, and the need to improve the professional level of specialists developing the practice of cor-rectional education in the republic and abroad. Also, the article identifies the components and types of stress resistance as a professionally important quality of specialists in children’s correctional institutions.
The article summarizes data on occupational stress; psychological aspects of the professional activ-ity of specialists in children’s correctional institutions are considered; analyzed modern data and the results of our own research on the problem of stress resistance of specialists of children’s correctional institutions, as well as the prevention of occupational stress and stress tolerance disorders among special-ists of this profile.
