Abstract

Literature review in wisdom and neurobiology of wisdom is presented in the current article. Author described the existing literature in determination of wisdom and underlined the necessity of new methodological approaches to the study of neurobiology wisdom. Also held a deep and detailed comparative analysis of for­eign and domestic theoretical approaches to the study of wisdom. Also determine the prospects for the development and direction of the concept of wisdom from the perspective of an integrative position of neurobiology and psychology, which un­doubtedly contributes to an understanding of the relevance of the study of wisdom in psychological experimental science. The article also examines the prospects for the development of the concept of wisdom, which assumes the following areas: 1) the study of complex functional systems - need to define the structural levels of the system; 2) study of dynamic patterns of development and change; 3) study the features of the regulatory mechanisms and the determination laws, physiological and psychological, as well as optimal conditions; 5) the ability to study аnature of this phenomenon, the study of this ability and its genetic background and develop­ment with environmental requirements; 6) developmental approach: study of how an individual past experience presented in certain «levels» of the brain affects the current activity, the levels relate to each other; 7) Phylogenetic approach: study of the socio-cultural characteristics, determining the behavioral specificity, which is reflected in the functions of the brain.
