At present, the worldview of the modern generation of young people is largely shaped by the influence of the mass media, the materials of which carry a stream of various information. The study of sources and attitudes towards the content of the information transmitted by them seems insufficiently explored in the context of knowledge about the world of youth. This article provides a comparative analysis of the views of Kazakhstan and Russian youth on the sources of information they use, and attitudes towards certain types of behavior that are broadcast through the mass media, including social networks. It also considers the assessment of the information field, as part of a common spiritual and value space in which young people interact. Research Methodology.
