Essence and structural and content characteristics of the professional and personal competence of office staff

The article discusses the practical importance of professional and personal competence of office staff. It is emphasized that the understanding of the content and structure of professional and personal competence is an important component of a successfully functioning human resource in management system of a modern company. It is noted that modern management is gradually expanding tools of human management, incorporating the achievements of various spheres of scientific knowledge, including - pedagogy and psychology. One of the leading achievements in this area is introduction of a competence-based tools in the scope of the management system of commercial organizations.
The article reveals the essence of professional and personal competence, as the integrative personality and professional characteristic. The authors describe a detailed analysis of the components of professional and personal competence, reveal the mechanism of its development.
The article proposes the author's definition of professional and personal competence of office staff, and a scheme reflecting the structural and informative characteristics based on component-based analysis. There are described four main components of professional and personal competence of office staff, whose development in the corporate environment is a necessary task of the strategic growth of company.
The article consistently substantiates the need for purposeful development and improvement of professional and personal competence of office staff, using modern management pedagogy and psychology tools.
