Strengthening the potential of competitiveness: universities and cooperation
АннотацияSupport of the higher education system development is one of the key tasks of the national policy of the country. Its accessibility is not only a matter of quantity, but also a key element of the social measurement of higher education, independent of the socioeconomic background and other factors that indirectly influence its expansion and development. Education in this context is defined as an «access policy», aimed at participation of all layers of population and ensuring the effectiveness of their participation. An important direction of the university’s activity, wishing to ensure a competitive position in the market of educational services, is the preparation of competitive specialists. And one of the key indicators determining the rating of an educational institution in conditions of growing competition is the level of demand for graduates. The results of the quantitative research were processed and analyzed with licensed software SPSS for Windows (version 21). The methodology used in the study allows making a comparative analysis of the competitiveness of graduates in a certain segment of the labor market, to take into account the dynamically changing demands of the labor market for the competitiveness of Kazakh graduates. The results of evaluations can be used to adjust curricula, target the educational activities of the university, create an individual educational and professional trajectories, and in motivational and educational preparation of students to form their competitiveness. The theoretical and practical importance of the article lies in the developed provisions that contribute to the further development and enrichment of data in the field of sociology of science, the sociology of education, educational and scientific programs, and educational concepts.
