Abstract

This research paper provides an analysis of the results of the use of methods such as questionnaires, color test of emotional relationship to the concept of religious fanaticism among the youth. The theme of religious fanaticism in the conditions of globalization of scientific and technological progress, and security issues is of particular relevance. Despite the relevance of the topic, national science researches of religious fanaticism have not received proper development. The purpose of this paper is to study the psychological commitment tendency of believers and non-believers to the concept of religious fanaticism in a comparative perspective. The comparative aspect of the research involves identifying the features of the psychological perception of the concept of religious fanaticism among believers and non-believers youth, as now, in connection with the activities of the international media, in a society in varying degrees, there is a stereotype of a possible commitment of believers to non-traditional religious ideas currents. In this context, basing on an empirical study, we concluded that the category of faith among the educated youth has no influence on the perception of phenomena of religious fanaticism.
