Abstract

A popular cause among students at America’s universities is a deep concern for the welfare of the

natural environment. This interest in promoting and protecting the natural environment, sometimes called

the «green movement,» is a growing social and political force in the United States. My subject in this

essay concerns how study of the liberal could benefit students committed to the protection of the nature.
