Abstract

The article shows the socio-psychological characteristics of adolescents – orphanages in comparison with children growing in families. The main approaches to the study of this group of adolescents, the social and psychological issues of orphanhood and social protection in the country have been identified on the base of the analysis of kazakhstani and foreign scientists works.
