Theoretical approaches to study professional self-determination in adolescence

Abstract

This article deals with current problems of professional self­determi­ nation, theoretical and methodological approaches to the study of profes­ sional identity in adolescence, describes the stages and tasks of profes­ sional self­determination of students. The author reveals the main factors that determine occupational choice, and also describes some of the psy­ chological processes in early adolescence – the period of preparation for the choice of future profession and professional choice.
