Abstract

This article presents the results of empirical research study of psychological foundations for the development of readiness for professional activity in the future psychologists The object of research performed readiness of the individual to the profession. Subject of research are determinants readiness for professional activity of student -psychologist in terms of higher education. The aim of this work is to study the psychological determinants of willingness to professional work in the conditions of modern higher education. The basic hypothesis of our study was a provision stating that the establishment of professional readiness of the student psychologist has been uneven As the main methodological tools used the method of «Psychosocial potential readiness for professional activity of student-psychologist» (PGPD), which is designed to assess the overall level of psychosocial readiness for professional work, and measures the severity of its individual components, namely twenty professionally important for activity practical psychologist personal qualities of the student psychologist
