Abstract

The purpose of this report is to present the results of an empirical study of communicative creativity characteristics of persons with different levels of self-confidence. On the ground of empirical research common features and peculiari-ties of communicative creativity of individuals with different self-confi-dence levels are found. Thus, in the high-confidence group subjects easily establish and maintain contacts with others, they are bold and energetic, tend to be in the spotlight, deviate from the pattern of behavior. They show the critical perception of the other’s opinions, reveal the presence of their own position and ignore other people’s judgments, if they consider them to be wrong. Representatives of the low self-confidence level do not take the initia-tive to communicate, they are not sociable, maintain relationships with the same people, have difficulties entering into new social contacts. As usual they are peculiar with too strong amenability and failure to protect their interests. They have monotonous and inexpressive nonverbal language, poor, monotonous linguistic means of communication (intona-tion, tempo, tone, etc.).
