Cross-cultural specifi city of role of family functioning.

Abstract

This article is devoted to the study of social and psychological characteristics of the marital relationship in family systems Kazakh and Russian in a single multi-cultural space. In particular, it refl ects the results of the study, the purpose of which was to study crosscultural differences in role functioning family. According to the study, the structure of role functioning of Russian and Kazakh families varies according to the degree of traditionalism – egalitarianism (Kazakh families in more traditional roles than the Russian family). In addition, the detected difference orientations to themselves and to the opinion of the environment in the model of conduct causes behaviors Russian and Kazakh general and family relations in particular.
