Social security of childhood in Kazakhstan

This article discusses one of the priority values of our society – maternity and childhood, through the prism of a qualitatively new type of economic and social relations in Kazakhstan: from parent's material status to educational institutions, from internal shape of a child to its social opportunities. Problems of preservation of life and health of an individual child, as well as of the whole humanity, and globality of its character. The authors have presented an interpretation of the term "social security", reflected in a number of international legal instruments. Special attention is paid to the analysis of this problem in regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Specificity and the role of social work in the protection of maternity and childhood are indicated.
