Social and cultural problems of the relationship between ethnic groups in contemporarysociety

Abstract

Authors consider challenges of ethnos in this article. The life of ethnos penetrates all sides of a public life of a society. Disclosing of essence ethnic communities which are very varied with the psychologies, prejudices, variations in modern conditions. Practice has shown, that such social-psychological categories, as national dignity, equality, fairness much more valuable than prosperity, abundance, properties. So, the national psychology does not exclude availability in each individual of a psychological constitution of the ethnic properties representing a complex phenomenon. Alongside with a category national psychology the important seat borrows national self-consciousness.

Thus, national self-consciousness – not passive imitation of the nations and nationalities another which surround them, and the realized feeling leaning knowledge of the nation, its role in a society.
