Abstract

The contemporary labour market in Pavlodar is characterized by the fact that women are experiencing the greatest difficulties in search of work. This is mainly due to the fact that the demand for labor is mainly for men’s specialties. The biggest part of the unemployed is women who are the most difficult to employ as they are the least competitive category of popu-lation at the labour market failing to meet the employers requirements. The paper analyses the experience of social work undertaken by autho-rized employment agencies in Pavlodar region for women’s occupation. The recommendations are given regarding reinforcement of female status at the labour market.
